If you’re anything like me, I imagine that you might have your due date circled in bright red on the calendar. However, your baby might have other plans! As a professional newborn photographer in East Aurora (and mom myself), I understand that timing doesn’t always go according to schedule. That’s why I build flexibility into my calendar to make sure I can accommodate early arrivals or those fashionably late.
Why Timing Matters for Newborn Sessions
The ideal window for newborn photography is within the first 5–14 days of life, when babies are still super sleepy, snuggly, and easier to pose. But don’t worry: if your baby comes early or late, we’ll adjust accordingly. I always leave wiggle room in my schedule for rescheduling, last-minute changes, and anything else your baby might surprise us with.
Easy Scheduling for Expecting Parents
Becoming a parent is a huge transition with many things to plan for and consider. The last thing you need is to stress about missing your newborn session window. When you book with me, you’re not just reserving a date, you’re reserving a flexible experience. I’ll stay in touch leading up to your due date and we’ll finalize after session once your baby has officially arrived. Sometimes the date you book ends up working out perfectly and other times, we need to move it earlier or later in order to fall within this window. Both of these scenarios are perfectly okay!
